 The ICL-02 is a powerful 2 channel ER-reader. The corrosion rate of the coupon and all relevant AC and DC parameters are logged. The recorded measurements of corrosion rate, AC voltage, AC current density, DC potential and DC current density provides the the data needed for a thorough assessment of the corrosion risk.
The time resolution of the corrosion rate measurement enables correlation between changes in the corrosion rate and the influence from AC power line or DC currents wether emerging from telleurgic effects or DC traction systems. The ICL-02 is the perfect tool to optimize cathodic protection of pipelines, whether under influence by AC or DC stray currents.
Programming of the ICL-02 is simple and the windows based user interface needs little explanation.
