We are proud to announce that MetriCorr has been awarded a contract by Ørsted to deliver corrosion and cathodic protection monitoring for the groundbreaking Hornsea 3 Offshore Wind Farm. With a capacity of 2.9 GW, Hornsea 3 will produce enough renewable electricity to power more than 3.3 million UK homes, making a significant contribution to the UK government’s ambition of having 50 GW offshore wind in operation by 2030 as part of the British Energy Security Strategy.
With MetriCorr’s state-of-the-art remote monitoring technology, we will support Ørsted’s mission to ensure the long-term integrity, reliability, and efficiency of critical offshore structures. By providing real-time insights into corrosion risks and cathodic protection performance, our solution will help optimize maintenance, extend asset lifetimes, and contribute to the success of this landmark project.
